What he said. Just spray your krylon into the spray paint can lid (or other bowl) until it pools up a bit and then dip a pencil or similar object in it and then flick it or drizzle it over the stock
Krylon makes a webbing spray paint. It comes in black, silver, gold, and white. I've done 3 or 4 and they've turned out really well. You need to find a flat clear to put on after you get finished with the webbing.
