Planning a re-barrel of a Remington 700 BDL .270. not sure caliber. barrel looks like $320/345+fluting.

need threading, cutting chamber, fitting to action, bedded into factory stock which will need to be relieved a bit for 2 or 3b contour.

threaded muzzle for break or suppressor.

what should this cost? haven't picked a smith yet.

Well, I'll offer an alternative..... odss are you're looking at around $300 to 350 for a good rebarrel job, plus bedding. If you're technically inclined and don't mind the different look, you could easily do a prefit barrel with barrel nut for just the cost of the tools and barrel. Then you'd be in the $500 range all in, and can easily switch out the barrel in the future as well. Just an option. Check out Northland Shooters Supply, Southern Precision. Couple of companies making very nice and very accurate prefits for remingtons now.

Typically just a rebarrel job with no action trueing is around $250-300. Add another $200-300 to have the action trued. Bedding jobs run anywhere from $150-250. And lastly muzzle threading ranges from $50-150.
