what savage to buy?????

i was wondering what savage to buy if i wanted to make a 338 edge??? oh yeah and lefthand too!

Any of them will work. Short action/target action will require removal of the bolt to extract a loaded round but they will eject an empty. Your going to run into magazine length issues even with a RUM/H&H action(3.6" mag box). Push feed action will eject a longer OAL then a CRF action without doing any work to it.

Any Savage action will do it. AJ Peacock has done one on a short action. Earl Fouraker has made a repeater 7mmRUM out of a long action centerfeed action.

A CRF action would be nice, but are super rare in left hand. A push feed works ok.
