What .280 AI dies do I have?

Hello everyone,

I decided to have a .280 Ackley Improved built. After making that decision I started collecting parts and pieces. I ordered my dies before knowing that there are two different 280 AI's. I use RCBS dies. The reason for this thread is to make sure I have the right dies. I have searched the internet but cannot find a solid answer. I sent an email to RCBS and have not received and answer. My question is are the RCBS dies built to the original Ackley specs or are these build to the new Nosler specs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Get the stock number off the dies and call RCBS. Most new dies are marked 40 degrees for the old specs but you need to confirm what RCBS is doing.

That is what I figured. I have heard that all die makers are making the Nosler spec dies unless otherwise ordered.
