We used to love eating and catching Walley. I was stunned by the States with the record weight Walley caught and also which States had the heaviest Walleye. Surprised the years when caught mostly many years ago so are all the large ones getting caught or is there a limit as to growth. I wish that they would have put the Lake/River location where caught.
We liked trolling in PA rivers for them and also fishing lake Erie.

These were caught last November 10th. Mine was 111/2 and my buddies girlfriend's was 131/2. They were caught in Three Mile Bay, Lake Ontario.

I believe our state record is 18.6, it was caught in the St. Lawrence River.

WOW nice Walleyes. We like to fillet and cut into cubes and use a special batter and deep fry. đź‘Ť

Same day, I'd rather eat one of these than a big Walleye. I prefer Walleyes 17 - 20".
YES Northern Pike. We used to fish in Canada and catch big Northerns. Had a friend that could get the Kentucky Fried Chicken "Batter" that we deep fried in. You had a good day fishing from your pictures!!!

We have big walleye in WA state. I'm a salmon/steelhead fisherman but we will fish for walleye on occasion. Not sure of our state record size...just looked it up, 20.32#-2014. My dad had a 16.27# walleye caught in 2004, on a herring and silver salmon dodger (salmon fishing in the Columbia).
