VX-3 trickler issues

I have the A & D fx-120 scale and the fx 3 trickler. The trickler will spin rapidly as soon as the main charge dumps. The spin is rapid but only spins maybe 4-6 revolutions. Once the scale weight settles down the trickler will then rotate slowly and operate as it should. That first spin throws powder uncontrollably. I emailed MacDonald and he said to clean the trickler tube which I did. I've rebooted several times trying that. Anyone else had this issue or a solution. Thanks

Just an idea, if you take the little drive belt off the trickler tube, does it rotate freely manually using your fingers?

Yes it turns freely other than the gearing that you can feel from inside the tumbler. Thanks

Yes, my V3 also does that. I cleaned the outside diameter of the tube and the little bushings, then applied a little graphite to the bushings. So far it has been working well.
