I have had both. I still have the Verosity, and sold the Viper. To my eyes the Verosity has the better optics. Both have great warranties, if you can compare both side by side, that would definitely help.

I compared in local gun store today and like you i thought the the clarity was with the Burris. I have owned several burris scopes with no issues. For the most part the viper has good reviews but a few that scare me. One pro fo the votex is that it goes up to 24X for about the same money as burris at 15X....24X is good for old eyes

I've owned both. I no longer have the Viper, but I now have 3 Veracitys.
Here is a better deal on the 3-15, they also have the 4-20. I've bought from them before, they are legit.

10-4 I saw that thats what made me put the brakes on buying the viper. Figure I can sell the smaller scope or just buy another rifle...

I thought sport optics were sold out though ?
