130 OTM is a killer for sure. I haven't had one take a step yet

Berger 130 OTM are amazingly accurate and not finnicky. That's what I'm shooting in my 6.5 CM.

Thanks everyone. I'm picking up some ELD-x but might get some VLD target as well. Looking stay in the 140 or 143 grain range so no 130s for me

The Berger 135 Classic Hunter is another good option for the 6.5CM if you find them available. They are insensitive to jump and kill with authority.

I'm getting 2 boxes of 175 grain VLDs for my 308 but honestly the 168 Classic Hunters and 168 ELD-Ms shot so well I might sell the 175s.

My LGS always has tons of Hornady in stock.

Eld-x and the hvld burgers shoot pretty close in my guns. Berger is way more consistent in weight and measurements. In the other hand the eldx is some cheaper . Both kill really well.

I just measured my jump to the lands on my new 308 with 175 Berger VLD.

It will be a .158" jump if loaded to SAAMI 2.800 COAL.

I will load up 3 charges weights and test but I've already got good loads for hunting rifle with 168 grainers so not sure if 175 is a big difference.
