Vision issues

I can relate to what you're going through and had the same problem about 6 years ago. I went to my eye Doctor and we talked about it and this is what we can up with. I started wearing contacts and I have two sets, i wear in my right eye which is my dominant eye a contact that is like a target and I can see my pins at 30" but I can also see far with as well. In my left eye I wear at contact that give me 20/20 vision. I wear these contacts only for hunting and golfing, this way I can see everything three feet and beyond. For every day use I wear a cheater contact in my left eye so that I can see everything close, and i wear the same contact that I wear in hunting and golfing in my right eye. It might sound crazy but it works.

Yes, it is possible. On active duty, they made me shoot the M-16 left-handed. While the shots grouped better, I did not do well in time because it was awkward. Perhaps if I had trained for it, I could have done better.
Most archery coaches will lean to switch to the dominant eye.

I have not tried it yet because I do not have a left-handed bow ... yet. I think I can do it since I am not timed. My next bow might be a left-handed one.
I see lefty's for cheap a lot of times if you don't mind a model that 1-3 years old.

Long term archer age 66. I wear transitional bifocals and can only clean up my sight pins with a verifier in the peep. Target is quite out of focus. Do not have a solution to this aggravating issue! Only want to hunt not a competition shooter. Need a solution or I might have to give it up? I got over my rotator cuff issue and now this arises!!
I use a no peep on my bow that sits out on the riser instead of a peep in the string. It may help you. They have been using red dot scopes on bows for a while too.

When I worked at my LGS guys would spend thousands on optics they thought would help them overcome poor vision. It won't.

Have your eyes checked yearly ams wear those **** glasses.

I have poor vision and been wearing glasses and getting beat up by bullies from the third grade to middle school. I still wore my glasses just the same.

Let your optician know that your hobbies are archery and bird watching instead of hunting. That way if your optician is anti everything you'll get your exam and proper prescription without a hassle.

Or look into surgery for that near perfect vision.
