Vanguard 2 screw spacing.

Hey folks,

I have been wanting to pick up a weatherby for a while.

Anyway, I purchased a stock on ebay for a steal, and went to pick up a first gen. vanguard, but they are sold out.

Since I live in Canada, there are not alot of cheaper places to pick one up I was about to grab one for $330 before they went out of stock (prob making room for new model). So does anyone have the new Vangard 2, and is the screw spacing the same, and will it fit same stock as the first gen?

I don't own an S2 (just a few S1's), but I know that the screw spacing is the same. Short action is still short action, long action is still long action. No change in their dimensions.

Remember, it's a Weatherby, not a Savage. They don't adjust the action length measurements on a semi-annual basis.
