Uncle Herb's Gun Collection

Attached in my Uncle Herb's gun collection list. I am posting it for those collectors who might want to comment on a specific gun rarity or value. S/N are not listed. Herb died with over 300 guns in his basement. Detroit police freaked out over it and demanded that the rifles be moved ASAP. A TV auction was held for firearms and his ammo. Aunt said that the ATF had a guy posted there at the auction.

Sorry to hear of your Uncle's passing. How did the police get involved? Hopefully the auction was a success and some heirlooms were passed down to family members.

He passed 10 years ago. In his 80s. Spent life as a GM engineer, Found him dead in his house by hunting partner due to a massive stroke.

Sister-in-law watched auction on TV and no relative told me about it in time for me to be present and bid as my relatives got in a bidding war with each other. Would have been funny to watch. I did get to inherit a beautiful SAKO Riihimaki in 222 complete with all original parts intact. Grandpa's fox rifle.
