Hey guys! two new .338 Cal Hammer Bullets to announce. For you guys that have been waiting for a 338 Hammer HHT tipped bullet, here is a 267g designed for a 10" twist or faster and fit in most factory magazines. We just got done testing this one in Australia fired from a 338 wm. Did a great job on water buffalo and scrub bulls. This is a great long range set up that will still be very good at short and medium range too.

The next one we designed on a request for a 200g pill that would work in the 338 Marlin Express lever action. So, this one has the Lever Action meplat design for running in the tube magazine. Many of you know how effective this design is for terminal performance, so for any 338 caliber rifle it will be an excellent normal range hunting bullet.

Ordered Thursday, arrived today (definitely nice living in Montana). Tipped them and loaded them up for my 338 RUM.

Hoping to hit the range this week to see how they perform.

What are your rifle specs and which powder are you trying first? I'm opting to wait for a lighter version of the HHT to come out in 338 for my 23" barreled 338 RUM. Anxious to see your results.

With the 260 gr HH, I had been using H1000 and worked up to 91 gr and 2940 FPS. I decided I'd go with RL-23 this time around since I have way too much sitting on my shelves. Using Nosler data for the 265 ABLR to get me in the ballpark.

Hoping this combo will shoot well!

Go to Thunder Valley near Coshocton. OH. Can shoot over a mile

I looked into it while I lived in Cleveland, but it was a good 2 hour drive one way. Kids and work responsibilities made it hard to commit to a full day at the range. Luckily, I have several ranges to go to in MT and have steel set out to a mile at our families ranch in WY.

Planning on filling quite a few tags with the HHTs this fall! I'll start a separate thread with the results of the 338's.
