Well I found something interesting with my 6.5 PRC. I have two different bullets that have some volicty and accuracy node. Both group almost exactly the same at 100 yards. Going to shoot at 200 and see if it is still the same. Need to find a rang that I can stretch it's legs though.

I only have one rifle in all mine that does that. 300RUM with 180BT and accubond. Total confidence in them. I had it zeroed for the AB for a elk hunt right after antelope. I pulled the AB out threw a BT in and one shot dropped an antelope at 800 even.

Ya it is just funny 153.5 Berger and 153 Hornady A-Tip, 56.5 Retumbo, Federal 215 primers. Getting average of 2955 for the Berger and 2954 for the Hornady. Only thing that is different is the Ogive to lands.

Is the accuracy and POI the same at all ranges?

175 LRAB and 175 Berger EH shoot real close to same in my 280 AI with 58gr R 23. LRAB hit about 2 inches lower at 600 yards. Only gun I have ever seen this in to hold same point of impact between different loads.

based on your velocities given: the berger is 1763 FPS 23.80 MOA at 1000 and the A tip is 1760 FPS 23.85 MOA at 1000. Take it out to 1000 and see.
I run those Bergers too and the BC's are pretty spot on.

Well groupings were inconclusive at 200 yards. My poor shooting along with trying a 1.5 bullseye. Just not a small enough circle for me to aim consistent. Need to be coached up on my longer distances to be consistent. 10 shots with the A-tips were .588 MOA and 5 shots with the Bergers were .563 MOA. Disappointed in my shooting.

Seems fine to me.

If you are disappointed with .558 MOA and .563 MOA you are in fact shooting for the Holy Grail. I am picky but extremely happy with .50 to .70 Moa. Time to get your head out of La La land and get back to the real world otherwise join up with the bench rest crowd and shoot for s 5 shot group of 0.0 MOA which means that the hole in the target equals the size of the bullet being fired.

I take that back 5 shot group .585. 10 shot group .669.
