Got some bulk spitzer seconds a while back and there's lead "dust" all over them. Is dry vibratory tumbling an option to clean them up? If not what would work? Thanks!

At first thought you meant that the bullets were "Tumbling" in flight or after hitting.

Not saying that they will shoot any better, but since they are seconds and after you clean them do a weight sort. You may see some good results and definitely have clean bullets to load.

I think a vibratory tumber with corn cob media would clean them up if there are no rough spots. Walnut media might leave a different color of dust on them unless you put in an additive to collect the dust.

Throw some flitz in walnut and you'll need sunglasses to open the hood of the tumbler!

Yep, I Tumble Bullets.
I also like my bullets to be shiny. Corn cob media with Flitz media additive.
Any tumbling method beats cleaning them with a rag and alcohol.
