Trigger un-cocks upon bolt closing

Remington 700. Tuned Factory trigger

Open bolt and the pin cocks.... Upon closing the bolt, the pin un-cocks.

Advice please....

Most likely the sear engagement. Get it fixed by a competent smith, prior to loading live rounds.

Sear! You can eat video on how to set it correctly. It's easy if you follow the steps.

But I would buy a trigger tech and toss the OEM in the trash.

Definitely sear engagement. Here's how to check, take a small screwdriver, lift and lower the sear manually with the bolt removed. Brake cleaner works very well to remove gummed up oil and varnish.
The sear should pop up under spring pressure, thoroughly cleaning the area and NOT using oil is key in this area.
I clean my trigger/firing assembly at least twice a year and always after a wet hunt or dusty hunt. It only takes a small bit of crud to hang up the most important piece on a firearm. Keep it clean of dust & oil.

Got it... Thanks.

Sprayed some brake cleaner in this morning and let it sit for a bit. Re-adjusted the trigger sear and it's working.
