Training rifles?

Is the cz 455 in manners worth the $$$? Any other trainers out there with excellent accuracy?

Well when I saw the title, the cz was my first thought. I guess it will depend on the type of training you have in mind.

I have 2 cz527 varmints in 223 and they have been extremely accurate and fun to shoot. Every range session starts with a couple groups from each one before I work up to bigger cartridges

You could try the hatsan escort.22. A cz clone but great for training.

FWIW, I started looking at .22's as trainers and at this point, I shoot rimfire more than anything else by 10 to 1.

The CZ's are great rifles, as are the Anschutz, Sako's, Cooper's etc...

If you're really looking to duplicate your centerfires, the Vudoo Gun Works V-22 is tough to beat...

For the money CZ or Tikka 1X are very hard to beat. I shoot matches with a CZ 452.

Bergara B14R gets good reviews and shares the R700 footprint. You can get them with a carbon barrel as well.
