I would say you annealed further down the case than necessary.

I use tempilaq 750 inside the neck to make sure I'm getting up to temp. I also use tempilaq 650 about a 1/2" down from the shoulder to make sure I'm not getting the case body soft. The cases in the picture are discolored much farther down the case body than mine are. My 6xc cases were perfect at 5 seconds in the flame.
