Time to Share your Winter Mutt Images!!

Hornhunter, Nate Dagley did a shooting school a few years back that my brother and I took but that's the only time I've met or talked to him.

If you ever want to build a rifle, Nate is one of the best. He's built 3 rifles for me and all of them are tack drivers.

This is the first one I have called in. Came in at a flat run I had him at 450 but but he started running in before I could get a shot on him, he then ran behind us my buddy missed him 3 times with my ar then I turned around and killed him at about 100 yds at a flat run with my 7mm LRM. Purity much vaporized the whole top of his head.

I'm still fighting with my state legislator to allow night vision devices for nuisance animal eradication. He may bite, but currently the law says no NV, IRI, or lights for hunting hogs or predators. I suppose I could day hunt, but what's the fun in that when you have a NV scope ready to go?

Another one. 85 Sierra Varminter SP, 6mm Remmy.

Nice!

My son got his first mutt tonight. We had a heck of a great time together and it's one of the most memorable outings that I can remember. The smile on his face says it all! The raised finger is to remind him later...that this was his first.

I don't remember the first coyote I shot, but I will never forget the first one I called in and shot. I was very well camoed up and laid prone. The coyotes kept coming in and eventually went blurry in my scope. When I took my eye away from the scope the pair was only a couple feet from me and one went on either side of me. They were so close I got up to my knees and tried to hit him with my barrel and yelled as he went by. I made a close running shot and didn't think I would ever stop shaking. Been hooked ever since. I just wih they came in as good as they used to.
