Tikka T3x or Bergara B-14 in 6.5 CM

I have a HMR in 6.5. How does the ridge feel for hunting. With a scope does it seem too heavy. My hmr is kinda heavy for carrying around a lot but I live the way it shoots. Is hot a tikka in 30/06 last weekend and even though it's a nice rifle it kicks the crap out of you.

Mine weighs 9.4 pounds without sling or ammo. All I care for at my age, but in my younger days it would have been just fine.
