Tikka t3 lite .308

I own a tikka t3 lite in .308. My primary use of the rifle will be hunting deer and elk. I want to be able to accurately hit out to 500 yards. The scope I currently have is a Nikon monarch 4-16 BDC. Will this rifle/scope be able to hit an animals vitals at 500? And any add ons or upgrades y'all think would be good I'm all ears.
