Tikka Roughtech 7mm PRC

Anyone shoot one? Feedback?

I know the 7PRC is just hitting the shelves in the Tikkas and I have an opportunity to get one for $1k otd, but would love to hear real world feedback. I own an older tikka .25-06 and a Sako 75 in 7RM, so I'm familiar with the generally positive brand feedback.

If you have a sako in 7mm RM, 7PRC is very similar unless your goal is longer range.

If LR hunting and shooting is the goal then get the Tikka. If you don't hunt past 500 yards, your 7RM will get it done.

I understand the logic. Did you have experience with the gun?

I have a Sako Roughtech, and its as fine an off the shelf rifle as I have owned. Since they changed the Roughtech to the Tikka line I can't say, I've had 3 Tikka's and have also had good luck. So as much help as i can give is good brand feedback.

I'd go for it if its what I wanted. Initially I thought yours was for sale, and checked on the post, as a friend is looking for something similar.

I bought it. Scope mounted, test rounds ready, I'll report back finding after range day Friday.
