Thickier cases

Ok Federal brass is thicker than W-W.Loading for a 22-250AI . So in the thick brass I need to lighten up the powder charge right?

Yep, you are correct. Depending on the powder, drop the charge back a grain or two and work back up.

Exactly! its usually about 1.2-1.4 for 22-250 to 308. use 12% or the inverse ratio of the differance of the cases.
