Is going to be a while. 7-10 million NEW firearms owners since the whoohooo-bat-flu started. On top of all of us who were in the game, already causing shortages every time a D was voted into office. This coming on the heels of the Trump Slump that caused economic issues within the industry and a general distaste to sink money into large expansions in capacity.

“Normal” is no longer what normal was.
Back to normal is a fallacy. Especially with ammo and components.
We said the same after Sandy Hook. The why sell components when all loaded ammo will sell philosophy was born, It was 4+yrs before 22LR ammo made a comeback.
The prices we desire may be gone for good, but things will be stocked again.

The Federal ammunition Rep told the white shirts at my local big box gun store today
That it will be 18 to 24 months till back to normal

T.P.
I talked to a Berger rep last week: same story! Factory working wide open. Production moves from assembly line to pallets and out the door. No inventory, 15+ month back log!!! 9 million new gun owners plus China virus and Ds are the root cause.

And my guess is: majority of power comes from Australia which is shut down.
