I tried Komifornia several years ago. The -39 yesterday wasn't so bad. The winds never exceeded 50 mph, and I don't remember the wind chill factor was. Sooo much better than Palm Springs.Sometimes it pays to be in komifornia
It still amazes me how deer can handle this weather (most of the time) year in and year out. This will be a terrible winter up here for them. Lots of wet snow, then below zero temps for a week, and lots of wolves that will get around on snow no problem.This pic few min ago sums it up.Look at temp and in blizzard conditions.
