Me and mama made a trip out to see our son in Texas for his birthday. It is a nice break for me
Don't get too excited about Galveston beaches or you will be disappointed when you get there, lol.Nice!! We're going to Galveston for my daughter's fall-break! Never been to a Texas beach before. Looking forward to it.

If you can, try to go in late Oct Nov after a few days of northerly winds. When the Gulf of America is green to the beach the sea trout and redfish bite can be rockin'. Ya gotta get in the water though usually out at the second or third sandbar, so don't keep bleeding fish on a stringer. The bull sharks like easy meals. Check the soulunar calendar. Also, the flounder migration is the bomb! Get a guide with a good flat bottom air driven flounder boat. It's the shizzle! I luv luv luv fishing the Texas coast October through April. F-summer! Good luck.Nice!! We're going to Galveston for my daughter's fall-break! Never been to a Texas beach before. Looking forward to it.
Had to plan this trip to coincide with my daughters 'Fall Break'…..so mid October it is.If you can, try to go in late Oct Nov after a few days of northerly winds. When the Gulf of America is green to the beach
I actually looked at a couple guide services online and they were both completely booked for the days we'd be there. I figured the others would be, too so I gave up on that idea.Get a guide with a good flat bottom air driven flounder boat. It's the shizzle!
We probably won't go past the knee deep point for this VERY reason. The bull sharks like easy meals.
Caught on Jamaica Beach, belly deep water in late November. Hook set yanked the rod out of my hands. It was like setting the hook into a stump. This pic was 30 minutes later. 51" Texas redfish. Landed on medium weight bay fishing tackle, 20lb braided line with a rod length of 30 lb nylon shock leader.Had to plan this trip to coincide with my daughters 'Fall Break'…..so mid October it is.

I know some holstiens do. It's all about the genetics of the cow. That's the easy explanation anyway lol.@Bucklowery
I had to look up A2A2 milk and it was pretty interesting. What species of cattle produce this?
