Texas Ranges

Until I can find the time to build my own, can anyone tell me where to find a long distance range that is fairly close to Houston, Texas? Thanks!

Sorry bro, the only two I'm aware of in Texas are in Mingus and Waco. The one in Waco is only open to the public on certain days and don't remember the schedule. Both go out to 1,000yds and hold comp's. It would be one heck of a drive for ya, but try Tac-Pro in Mingus.

When I lived in TX, I considered 4 hours close , so here ya go:

There's a range just outside Austin with a 1,000 yard line and concrete benches. I have not been there yet.
