Texas border hunting?

Hello,
We have tags for Barbary's in New Mexico in Jan. In 29-30 areas which border Texas. I would deeply appreciate information from Texas hunters on the seasonal pressure on these animals on the Texas side of that border. Is the season for hunting these sheep open in that area of Texas?

The hunting season in Texas for Barbary Sheep/aoudad is open year round as it is considered an exotic animal. Most hunting done in the late fall, winter and spring because of heat.
