what is a good target to practice shootin at for long range?
i see the best of the west has a orange steal plate that hangs up. cost alot though lol what do yall think?

I also like to shoot at steel painted orange, it allows you to see and hear your hits. Also you can get them for fairly cheap, 30-40 for a 10 in targert and they last forever

I went to the local welding shop and bought a 12"X14" 1/2" plate for $20 and an 3/8" 18" round plate for $25 dollars. painted both orange and hung the 18" round at 1000yrds and the rectangle at 1300. Both are T-1 steel. I drilled 1/2" holes in them to take a clevis and hang em up. Love to hear em ring.

Piece of drywall works well, you can cut it to the size of your choice. Nice white puff on impact, but you need to be shooting far enough to get back on target to see impact.
