Spiked screws for benchrest

FWIW - Many of the front rests come with pointed adjustment screws. Then you have to get pads (say 2" dia. x 3/16" thick) with dimple or small hole for the "spike" to set in because many ranges don't want their concrete chipped up.

Any machine shop could make a similar "screw" out of a standard bolt, if none are found.
Stainless steel would be the preferred material.
