He sure is, he will be under protective status for a few years, the crazy thing is that there is a 50/50 chance that he will be mostly nocturnal this year and next year or so he probably definitely will be nocturnal for the most part.
This happens with most of them unless you find their small daytime area where he will spend most of the day time hours.

Probably will not be nocturnal during rut. 5 years of survival means they know what it takes to survive. They have to feed more than once a day. Kudos to those "Alphas"!
