Maybe Bertram brass is not new, but there are some cartridges that are in high demand that are being made now.

    28 nosler (with 30 and 26 coming)
    300 and 338 norma
(Dasher, 375 snipetac and others are being worked on as well)

Also Winchester short mag, short action Ultra Mag, rum and many others are in stock, Take a look!

I’ve been using the .408 brass in a .408 Cheytac and .375 Snipetac for several years. Good stuff, a lot better than Jamison. If Peterson is any better then it is great stuff! Need to try some to see.

I noticed .338 Raptor is on their list...as in Kirby’s Raptor?
That would be a bad “A” dude in a lighter carry rifle, maybe built on a MK-V action.

I have tried and attempted to use Bertram brass for 25 years with little to no success but this will devolve into another opinion match between those who like it and those who don't. I really don't care which cartridge cases they're tooling up for or if they have created a 'new' company to handle the exporting to the US, it won't make a difference to me. The brass is more expensive because it's imported and the quality is not there to be commensurate with those prices, not when we have newer companies here in the US making excellent brass.

Now if some of this brass is the only way you can get some stock, have at it but be warned.

    Regards.

If you don't try new cases with new offerings than you're not really looking at current quality. And with offering chamberings that are not being offered other than by a company that may be softer and give out sooner. Then go ahead and pay just a little less for a cartridge that you'll have to replace sooner.

Bertram brass has a very good reputation in Europe and Africa from my experience.

They had some issues when they started expanding into the US market probably because of some of the new calibers they were manufacturing but from what little experience and everything I've read about them they are a pretty darn good outfit.

This past year, I used 7 RUM, 300RUM and 338 Snipetac Bertram brass. The quality was excellent and my results were outstanding. In fact last night, I ordered 7 SAUM Bertram brass from Bertram USA based on my recent experience.
The bottom line is it is great to now have so many choices available to us on these sometimes hard to find cases.

I have made Nosler cases out of 338 rum brass and it outlasts anything on the market. also ordered 7saum brass and was told 284 win cases are coming.

As far as new brass, Peterson has some good stuff too. 300 norma mag, 338 Norma coming soon, SRP .260 brass, AND its made in America, AND Ben is an awesome guy to deal with.

    Reading is fundamental.

I always try, test and assess any new brass as well as other components which enter into the US market. So your assumption about my lack of experience with Bertram is fallacious. This is my professional endeavor not just some weekend romp at the shooting range or buying a few pieces and shooting a few shots over a chronograph.

Bertram may very well have shown some signs of subtle improvements occasionally but for the vast majority of their production components lines, they are not worth what they charge.

This is from my original statement last night and I stand by it since I've seen dozens of these discussion before. It boils down to those who apparently want to like and support the product and those who do not like it and will not support it. There's no gray area in between. So this is where we stand now, divided in our choice. Everyone is entitled to their own choices and ideas. I was simply trying to add my experiences from 25 years of testing for the production of dozens and dozens of wildcats and modified cases. If it doesn't fit your viewpoint, simply push it aside and move on.;)

    Enjoy the process!
