I picked up a b&c for my feather weight model 70 in 300 wsm
The problem is the bottom metal cut out is for a 1 piece and the gun is a two piece. We put a spacer under the end screw, which allows it to function. But it has a gap at the bottom of the plate.
question is, is it possible and where can I purchase the a 1 piece bottom metal to fit this gun?
i have looked at badger ordinance and other like after market mags and don't want to put the money in them, plus don't need the extra weight, since the whole idea of this rifle was to keep it light.
any help would be appreciated.
