Guys,
I finally found a range near me that allows shots out to 600 yards and a few times a year they close this road so they can shoot to 1000 yards. One of the things you must have before joining the club is you must have taken a small arms course. From what I have read is these courses use an ar15 rifle but that is about the extent of what they tell you. Exactly what will happen in these course? Maybe it differs from course to course or does the definition "small arms course" mean the same everywhere. Thanks guys, just seeing if it is worth the hassle and cost or shall my search continue for another range.
