Sight question

I think he is looking for a non-scope for states that have banned optics on MLs to keep it more "traditional".

What about a Red Dot? I have shot my AR w. red dot out to 300 with surprisingly good results.

Even red dots are not allowed in some western states….like New Mexico for example.

Yeah trying to keep it to open sights of some kind that can be mounted to a rem 700

I have at least one redfield international rear sight that I used on a M70 for Highpower competition untill about 10 years ago when they let us use scopes, it always cracks me up when some expert proclaims you have to have a $3000 scope to shoot long range since untill 10 years ago we were using Irons to shoot up to 1000 and the Palma guys are still shooting irons. Ayway redfield internationals are good sights with 1/4 min changes with a 30 inch or so sight radius and should be worth about $250 try ebay to see if you can get a picture of what they look like. let me know if I can help you with one
