And if you said your pack was heavy after putting elk meat in it I wouldn't ask you what you consider light and what pack you used that was significantly lighter.

Good thing this thread isn't packs, isn't it? It's about the SIG Cross. Anybody claiming that a 6.5 lb rifle is heavy is either full of beans or has never actually owned a 6.5 lb rifle and is talking out of their neck.

I use handloads but did fire a bunch of 185 Berger. It was 2340 fps with the factory 16" barrel and can.

Got Dad one for Christmas a couple years ago factory 6.5creed is plenty accurate easily 1moa. It's a handy rifle for sure, the shorter barrel and adjustability are big assists for our style of hunting. If you're looking for custom gun fit/finish this ain't it but we've had no issues with it and it's perfect for in/out of trucks,sxs,blinds.
