I would appreciate any insight. Now that there is a cross magnum out.. im wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with a rebarrel on one. Obviously the bolt side of the extension is going to be larger but Is the barrel thread side of the barrel extension the same as the sig short action? And is the shank of the bolt head the same diameter as the short? If those 2 parts are interchangeable there is good hope of a short action 6.5prc or 300wsm cross
