I hunt south eastern MN and as of right now, it is still a slug/pistol zone only. We find out soon whether or not the bill to use rifles passes or not. If it doesn't pass, I am going to build an AR pistol that is under 26 inches and meets the regulations to use in a shotgun zone. I was thinking 6.8spc, Aero precision upper and lower, 8.5 inch barrel, and a 4 inch free floating handguard. Does anyone else have experience with the 6.8 in an AR pistol? Any recommendations on what else I could buy for it or caliber selections would be great.
