Any follow up on this? I was just considering a "carbine" smokeless build myself my "long range" build is just a little cumbersome in the woods. I was thinking 18" with a break

I understand going to give up some performance for maneuverability ie shorter barrel
What suppressor are you using? I was thinking about getting a hybrid 46 not necessarily for this but could be funI'm running a 17" barrel suppressed with a 275 grain bullet, 4227 with a large rifle primers and DI modules. Build by Hankins Custom Rifles. Bullets running 2,450 fps.

Second on the Hybrid 46, mine is one of the originals from 2016 so I'm not sure how much different the newer ones are. What suppressor are you using? I was thinking about getting a hybrid 46 not necessarily for this but could be fun
Why 209 ignition system over using large magnum rifle primers in models? Thanks everyone, bought a stainless 700 ml as a donor last night going with arrow head 209 ignition to stay away from modules. Havnt decided on barrel brand or contour thinking 18".
I already have one with the 209 ignition system and it works just fine. No module to wear out or drop in the field. Just my opinion I'm sure the others are fine choices as wellWhy 209 ignition system over using large magnum rifle primers in models?
