As a backpack hunter, I'm always carrying trekking poles and my pack. Depending on the hunt, I may or may not be carrying a tripod. And depending on the country I'm in, I often can't find a good spot to get prone for shot opportunities. For those reasons, I often find myself needing to shooting from a kneeling or sitting position and wanted to share my favorite shooting support setup for those situations.
Obviously there are a lot of ways to build positions in the field, but if you backpack hunt in the mountains, I'd be sure to give this setup a try.
