Shawnee state forest Ohio..anyone hunted ?

Going to kill sometime here late Oct first part of Nov. Wondering if anyone has hunted the area. Wondering what to exspect as far as deer size (130's 140's) etc. Hunting pressure. Going to scout in next few weeks do alot of walking. Be looking at spots that take some walking to get to from the roads to try to loss some hunting pressure.

Yeah i've hunted Ohio for years just not here. Use to hunt private and lease ground.

Public land deer numbers and trophy potental getting worse every year. Been hunting ohio since 2003. Hunter sightings increasing each year and mountable deer sightings almost nonexistant. Bout time for me to concentrate elsewhere. Private leases arent much better if you dont have a local guy you can trust to keep people off your lease when youre not there. Ohio is good under right circumstances. Good luck finding that.
