seating die. VLD or not?

Looking at getting a Redding micrometer die and I've heard of the VLD seating stem. Is this necessary? I normaly shoot the 115gr Berger VLD but have some 120gr SGK's on hand also. I didin't even see where Brownells sold the 25-06 stem. What say yal to this? Thank's, Brad

The cup on the seater stem needs to fit about 15% below the bullet tip in order to keep it straight. If yours does not, call Redding.
