Well I know for sure the animal in the picture is not a bull elk so what kind of buck is it and would it be of average size.

For sure thats no Roe Buck.

Red stag 2yrs old I would say.

SWALI is spot on its a RED DEER STAG 2 year old
these ones live out on the hill all of the time so they dont grow to huge weights average is about 180-200lbs but the stags that live in our woodlands can go double the weight of the hill stags
