Scope suggestions needed.

Yep, I think your warranty is toast.

My upgrading of the stock and barrel should not void my warranty unless in doing so I somehow damaged other parts of the rifle and I don't think that these upgrades caused my scope-base mounting holes to move. :-0

Unfortunately you can't always count of manufactures to think rationally when it comes to things like this, so I will re-install the original parts before sending it in for warranty work. Besides I really don't want to risk damaging my new stock and barrel shipping it back to Savage for repair.
 
Changing barrels and triggers is not authorized by the factory, just like dropping a V8 into a 4 cylinder car is not either. I am willing to bet they will not touch it unless at least the barreled action is in its original state. Unless you are "someone special" like a national competitor.
