Scope selection??

I'm looking for a new scope for my 260, I've used an swfa 10x42 mil-quad for a while now and am looking for more magnification I don't care about brand just accuracy, zero stop is unnecessarily I am on a strict budget ceiling of 1500$ and can't afford to mess up... I will be shooting to 600-1500 regularly

Since you already have SWFA experience, have you considered SWFA SS HD 5-20x50 Tactical 30mm Riflescope | SWFA

I have the same scope on my .300 WSM and I am very pleased with it.

Mostly target and as long as the mil-dots are accurate I don't care ffp or sfp

Zeiss Conquest in 5-25X-50..??

I love the glass on the zeiss scopes however the killer for me is I'm only scratching 2700fps and they don't have the amount of adjustment the 30mm scopes do and I need all I can get

You install it on top of a 20 MOA rail!

Or get it in a Rapid-z. I looked through a Zeiss HD just a few days ago at Cabela's. For $1400 the glass was absolutely awesome! Then looked thru a NSX it was no where near as good as the Zeiss. Glass does matter. To me anyway, I'm old.

Sightron SIII or Vortex Viper PST will do you very well. I prefer the Sightron's,I have 5 of them.

its in an ar-10 platform with a 24" benchmark barrel I already have a badger ordinance 20 moa scope mount for 30mm rings so I am trying to stick with the 30mm tube ive heard about the sightrons but no first hand experiance
