Scope Rings?

Seems to me, you want your scope mounted directly in-line, over center of your barrel. Looking at many recommended rings, they attach to the bases solidly on one side then clamp on the other. Rings I've used like this are always a little off center. Not a problem for a 200 yrd deer rifle, but what do you use for a 1000 yrd varmint rifle. I would think you'd want something with windage adjustment so you can perfectly line rings up directly over barrel center. Any recommendations?

Wow, no response. Thinking more about this, do your rings need to be the same brand as your bases?
