Scope rings for 300 win

I am mounting a 6-20x50 mark 4 on a bergara HMR that I am messing around with. (cut the barrel to 22" and ordered a MC3 stock for it)
Anyway, I always find myself staring at rings for hours trying to pick what I want to try.
I like the Mark 4 style rings but am not willing to spend the money on them. (so if you have a set of medium, 30mm hanging around you dont want... PM me)
I am looking at the TPS rings on midway and the EGW keystone rings (which I had a problem with slippage on, granted with a 50 BMG)

What say you.

EGW has some pretty sleek rings and same with Vortex.

Depends if you want rings with a big nut to torque or not.

Strictly personal preference here, I use APA/Seekins/Hawkins/NF.

Can't really go wrong if you stay with any of the major players.

I just finished bedding the EGWs on my 50; plan on retrying shooting to see if it still slides.
Theres a guy on here with some mark4 rings hes selling, still waiting on a response.

I don't know what the budget is, but I have used a couple of 1 piece mounts and a set of rings from Tier One over the last year and a half. Nice, Nice, Nice quality. Several good rings mentioned in this forum as well.

I've used TPS rings for over 10 years now on all the custom rifles I have built (well over 200) and my own personal as well. They have always been 100% prefect and never a failure for any reason.

^^^ this and I've used them on many rigs with excellent results. Be sure to follow the directions when torquing the rings and don't look back. Excellent rings. Made in USA. The Keystone by EGW are their entry level ring if I'm not mistaken? You would need their HD ring to be in the same category as the TPS.

I have used TPS and Badger rings and, IMHO, it's boils down to what you can get or your preference.

I personally like the QRW rings from Leupold. Easy to remove scope for travel if need be. I have them on most of my hunting rifles and definitely on my dangerous game rifles

I have switched all my rifles to Hawkins Precission and they are great. They also come with a scope level cap. They are very light weight but are very strong with leant of clamping force. And it's a great company.

I run these Hawkins also on some rigs but the OP is wanting to spend something in the $75 range based on his post. Those Hawkins run in the $150 area.

Honestly, I don't think rings are something you want to compromise on, especially with heavier calibers. My personal go to brands will always be ARC first and foremost followed by Hawkins and Seekins depending on the application.

I had one experience with a set of steel TPS rings and will never buy them again. Whatever system they had to try and level your reticle by tightening one side and then the other didn't work for me and was not intuitive. Having used other great sets of rings, I just can't recommend TPS.

Those EGW's looks like what they are, a rip off of the Seekins. EGW is otherwise a decent brand, but I would spend a little extra and just get the Seekins.
