Scope help please

I am looking to upgrade the scope i have on my 308 this gun is mostly used for target shooting and hunting from 100 to 500 yards looking to stay around 350 and would last forever some of the features that i would like
variable power 4-12 would be good
mill dots
target turrets would be nice but not a deal breaker

I put a BuckMasters 4.5-14 x 40 on a walking varminter I have here thats a 22-250 and I really like it. Side focus..nice reticle...price wasnt bad either.

I had a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14 on my .308 before I upgraded to my PST. The Buckmasters was a great scope.

Third for the Buckmaster. I have three 4.5-14 and they work. I am upgrading, but I will keep them for other rifles. Mine are mil-dot, they adjust easily and repeat. I found mine for $2-250 used. The 6-18 are only 1/8in adjustments so stay away from them. I got lucky with my long range gun and the scope give me about 30min elevation so I don't need a canted rail.
