Scope base question

O MOA base, 10 MOA base, or 20 MOA base???

Cooper Excalibur 52, 6.5x284, more than likely putting on a NightForce SHV 4-14x50 F1. Currently I shoot sub 300 yrds. I want to start practicing 500-700 and depending on how that goes, maybe farther

to get to 1000 with the 6.5-284 you should be around 25 MOA or 6.5 MILS of elevation.

Most scopes have enough elevation to get that far even with a 0 MOA base.

If you use a 20 MOA base, you want to have at least 20 MOA of ajdustment if you want to also shoot 100 yards and less.

So realistically, a 0moa base will be fine for me....
