Put the thing on Ebay with a minimum reserve just less than new retail and see what you get for bids...

You might try giving Mile High Shooting Accessories a call since they stock a wide variety of S&B scopes. It seems like they mark down a few hundred dollars on demo scopes and down $1k or more on older less desirable models.
