I received a suspicious PM last night that looks like what some of the scammers have been trying to do on Snipershide. Who should I report this to?

it might be useful to post the user name of the alleged "scammer"
and you might inform Len Backus

That would be the thing to do.
They have to be a member to post, and Len checks them out before allowing them to join LRH.
Jive him as much Info as you have and let him run with it.

I sent a message to Len. This is the PM I received in response to a WTB thread that I started.
"Hi,
Email Peter on [email protected] regarding your request . He gave me a great deal when i purchased from him. He is located in Elkton Oregon 97436 and fast shipping.HE IS TRUSTED .

Sounds like he is ok to me.
It never hurts to check though.
There have been a few scams that made it past some of us and Len so it is wise to be cautious.
It is also wise to look at the number of post the person has made and read some of them. If all he is doing is selling, beware unless he is a sponsor.
Almost everyone on this site knows who can be trusted and it is rare that someone gets scammed on LRH.

I'm glad it turned out good. I delete a sender I do not know and when I send a PM to someone that don't know me, I put my username at the subject as "Query or PM from LRH Member FEENIX" ,.. but that's just me.

I dont think the outcome has been determined yet.......I have seen this same exact response on the Hide a few times now, and I think it was deemed bad......as in, do not do business with this person. Lets see what Len has to say. I hope I am wrong, but that PM raises nothing but Red flags to me.
Received the same PM yesterday in regards to me looking to buy a Mato rifle. It's a scam and I did not reply.
